Our first interstate project is officially open – the D1 Darwin Centre! Yesterday marked the grand opening of this state-of-the-art data centre, developed in close partnership with the , , and module build partner .
The D1 facility is set to revolutionise digital infrastructure in the region. The ceremony was attended by NT Chief Minister, Hon , and featured a Welcome to Country by Larrakia Elder, Aunty Jeanneen McLennan.
Chief Minister Lawler said, “NEXTDC’s D1 Darwin marks an exciting milestone for the Territory’s accelerating digital economy, providing numerous local and global organisations with mission-critical infrastructure combined with access to global cloud platforms to drive and implement their digital growth strategies.”

We extend our thanks to our new business team, who worked tirelessly for 14 months, and to our delivery team, who overcame challenges like a closed highway to complete the build in just 9 months.
