Reaching new heights with one of Australia's largest tower cranes!
This 5-day endeavour began with the installation of a raft slab supported by 12 piles, each 600mm wide and 5m deep. The crane was fully operational within 7 days, thanks to the use of 65 MPa strength, enabling it's erection shortly after the pour—a mere 48-hour wait! Illuminated in É«¿Ø´«Ã½ teal during the night, this crane can lift up to 100 tons, rendering it ideal for handling extremely heavy prefab components for this data centre.
The meticulous pre-planning contributed to the success of this complex operation. High-risk workshops brought together key consultants, engineers and subcontractors to ensure the safe erection of the crane within a constrained space and on an active data centre site.
